Papergang – October Subscription

Hello this is me FINALLY reviewing October’s Box from Papergang. Long story short working full time hours whilst trying to organise moving to a different city and combine that with a postal service leads to things being forgotten. Anyway enough of my terrible excuses it’s Papergang time! This month was filled with stationery covered in pretty illustrated animals featuring artists Maddy Vian and Gemma Correll.

This week I am going to show you all the wonderful artists that have showcased their artwork through wallpaper. Hygge & West is aย website that is dedicated in helping your home become your own little sanctuary. “Hygge” roughly translates in Danish as “cosy” andย that’s exactly what owners Christiana and Aimee intend to create with their handpicked designs for the home.

Inspirational Art – Bunnie Reiss

What I love about art, design and general pretty stuff is how passionate people can be when creating such inspirational pieces. When you can see someone enjoying themselves it oozes from their work and that’s definitely what I see in Bunnie (Bonnie) Reiss.

Stationery – Ban.Do

bando4

Today I am going to talk about a stationery and gift store that I found, LA based Ban.Do (pronounced band-doh). I came across them by looking at an adorable 17 month diary which was full of cute illustrations, quirky quotes and funny coded stickers. They have an online shop here, filled with wonderful things as well as on Asos and even Paperchase has some stock.

The company is “serious about fun” and you can see the passion they have for creating wonderful things. It’s a collective of seriously talented women whose purpose is to fill our life with bright colours, irreverent patterns, quirky sayings and maybe a kitten or two. I absolutely love the illustrations they use and the muted pastel flowers in the diary and scrapbook.

Here is a small selection of their products for you to feast your eyes on.
