The last couple of posts were on London Fashion Week so I thought I would continue the theme with this one and show you some Paris Fashion Week goodies that I found. It finished on Tuesday so I am a tad late but it’s a lot of fashion to look at and these two designers are the ones that caught my eye the most.
So I’m not usually into Fashion Week’s because fashion doesn’t bother me. I mean I love a good shopping spree as much as the next girl but crazy fashion fads (I’m looking at you loafers!) just don’t excite me. BUT one thing that has stricken me looking at vogue.com is all the lovely patterns that I am seeing for Autumn/Winter 2017. Catwalks were 19th Feb.
I am really excited about this next one in the Hygge & West journey as I adore her work and with high profile client list I think other people like her too. I’m talking about Katie Rodgers who is the artist behind all the whimsical designs of Paper Fashion.
Next stop on the Hygge & West journey is a lovely artist, blogger, writer and general all round inspirational character. Justina Blakeney strives for pattern, colour and life – er work screams out bohemian and has successfully designed a homeware collection that dares to be bold.
This week I am going to show you all the wonderful artists that have showcased their artwork through wallpaper. Hygge & West is a website that is dedicated in helping your home become your own little sanctuary. “Hygge” roughly translates in Danish as “cosy” and that’s exactly what owners Christiana and Aimee intend to create with their handpicked designs for the home.
