Beautiful Barcelona

I’ve just come home from a wonderful little family holiday to Spain. Whilst we were situated in a bog standard resort in Salou we decided to have a day trip to Barcelona. It took about an hour and a half to get there but it was worth every minute. I fell in love with this city – the culture, the hussle and bussle, the food, but most of all the art.

We were venturing around the nooks and crannies of the gothic quarter when we came across a small pop up gallery/shop – La Nostra Ciutat. I was instantly in heaven as the whole place was filled fromΒ floor to ceiling of art prints, tables full of knick knacks and even a corner full of fabric cacti.

So I found the company The Mochi and The Bear. It is a company started by illustrator and designer Jordi and Laura. The name is based on their two cats which I think is super cute and adds more interest to this little company. They are both from Barcelona and all products are made with respect to people and the environment. Check out some of their stuff here – we couldn’t resist so managed to buy two prints from them.

Have you been to Barcelona? If so what was your favourite thing to do? I’d love to hear your story. Thanks for reading!

Its like you read my thoughts! You appear to know so much approximately this, like you wrote the e-book in it or something.
I believe that you just could do with some p.c. to drive
the message home a little bit, however other than that, that is wonderful blog.
A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.
