The last couple of posts were on London Fashion Week so I thought I would continue the theme with this one and show you some Paris Fashion Week goodies that I found. It finished on Tuesday so I am a tad late but it’s a lot of fashion to look at and these two designers are the ones that caught my eye the most.
So London Fashion Week has me totally hooked! I couldn’t wait to see all the shows from yesterday and I was not disappointed. Although it’s not your usual big names like Gucci or Versace these designers are huge in the industry but just not well known to muggles like myself. Take a look at what wonders I have found…
First up is Erdem, which is a ready to wear designer. This brand was established in 2005 in London and was founded by Erdem Moralioglu. The dresses are absolutely beautiful and the cut they have kinda looks like old Victorian dresses but with a bad ass twist.
” Known for his use of experimental textiles, vibrant prints, and detailed craftsmanship, Erdem has created a beautiful world of the delicate mixed with the bold.” – erdem.com
And the other designer that caught my eye was Huishan Zhang. Now this is a designer that I have never heard of until I spotted a dress on vogue.com. His ready to wear collection was filled with soft colours and feminine shapes to them.
“Creating a luxurious brand where Eastern heritage meets Western influences, his collection create a romantic sophisticated and ageless philosophy with feminine details, strong lines, and directional details.” – huishanxhang.com

Thanks for reading. Have a look at yesterday’s post for more LFW 2017 inspiration.
So I’m not usually into Fashion Week’s because fashion doesn’t bother me. I mean I love a good shopping spree as much as the next girl but crazy fashion fads (I’m looking at you loafers!) just don’t excite me. BUT one thing that has stricken me looking at vogue.com is all the lovely patterns that I am seeing for Autumn/Winter 2017. Catwalks were 19th Feb.
Well it’s been a while and theres no excuse for it! So let’s bypass the apologies and get stuck into an amazing artist that I had the pleasure of meeting.
Top Drawer 2017 was held in London Olympia and it’s a trade show that is filled to the brim with beautiful products and talented artists. I had a blast working there and that’s where I met Poppy Ward.
I was wandering around the show and was immediately drawn to her stand which was filled to the brim with luxurious gem stone colours and large painted botanical leaves. Her products include fabrics, art pieces, fabric and soon to be wallpaper.
Poppy’s work is solely inspired by her trips to Malaysia when she was younger and the essence of that culture shines through the work perfectly. Take a look at her work here, I think it’s absolutely beautiful!
It’s been a crazy month over here but thought I’d finally take the time to wish any followers or visitors a very Merry Christmas! I’ve got one last designer to show you all before the festivities commence and I go off on my travels again.
